Caleb Friedeman - Christian Education Pastor

Pastor Caleb FriedemanCaleb hails from Jackson, MS, and is the oldest son of Matt and Mary Friedeman. He became a Christian at home at the age of 5. As caleb recalls, "I remember realizing that someday Mom and dad were going to heaven, and I didn't want to be left out." Although this original motivation left much to be desired, God blessed that original seed of faith.

After graduating from high school, caleb moved to wilder, KY, where he pursued a B.A. in Ancient Languages at Asbury University. During the summer between his junior and senior years, Caleb received a grant to teach biblical languages at Living Hope Theological College in India for six weeks. It was through this experience that God began to call Caleb toward the vocation of pastor-scholar.

After graduating from Asbury, Caleb returned to Jackson to pursue further studies at Wesley Biblical Seminary. During this time, he also served on the pastoral staff at his home church, DaySpring (a church of the Nazarene). Caleb graduated from WBS with an M.A. in Biblical Literature in 2013.

In August of 2014 Caleb moved to Wheaton, IL and is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Biblical Theology–New Testament at Wheaton College Graduate School while also serving as the Christian Education Pastor at Trinity.

In addition to his work at Wheaton and Trinity, Caleb enjoys reading, making music, dancing, and lifting weights.
